United Methodist Youth Fellowship - open to all youth in grades 7th - 12th grades and our college students, as they want to visit. Meetings are weekly on Sunday evenings from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, August thru May, and monthly in the summer.
30 Hour Famine – our youth participate in this annual event held at Lakeshore UMA each year. The group literally goes 30 hours without eating in an effort to raise money for impoverished countries.
Confirmation – a spiritual journey for youth (6th grade and up) wishing to explore Christian belief/faith and how The United Methodist Church thinks about spiritual faith issues. This experience (9-12 weeks) covers such issues as salvation, baptism, communion, spiritual growth, and faithfulness to the Lord and to the church. At the end of Confirmation, each youth is invited to make a deeper commitment to Christ and become professing members of the church.
Missions/Community Service – it is the goal of this church and of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship to instill in our young people the importance of missions and outreach. Our youth are encouraged to participate in all areas of missions in our church.
Boy Scouts – providing a complete program of Scouting to the youth of this community. To offer youth and families a program that helps them to develop better relationships along with opportunities for fun and adventure.
Sunday school – a class for 7th – 12th graders meets each Sunday morning at 9:00 am in the downstairs youth area.
Spiritual Retreats – at least 3 times throughout the year our youth participate in spiritual retreats to ground themselves in their faith and to further explore their spiritual walk.
Bible Study – during the school year our youth meet each Wednesday morning at 7:00 am for breakfast and spiritual growth.
Ski Trip – taken annually during Christmas break
