"Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe..." Hebrews 12:28
As a community of Believers and Followers of Jesus Christ, worship is central to our lives. Through worship we glorify God, touch lives, and find inspiration to do God's work in the world. Everyone in the community is welcome to join us in worship, and connect with the God who loves us and calls us all to a relationship with Him, no matter what our background may be.
Our weekly worship service begins on Sunday mornings at 10:15 am in the church sanctuary. Nursery is provided for children under three.
Worship Team – collaborating with our Pastor, we organize and plan worship events for our congregation. We plan special services through the seasons of Lent/Easter and Advent/Christmas. This team is open to anyone who senses God calling them to help plan or implement corporate worship within our congregation
Ushers – an important ministry, these individuals’ assist each Sunday by handing out worship bulletins, helping individuals locate seating, and receiving the offering.
Acolytes – this ministry is available to children in grades 3, 4, and 5. Training is required. This is the ministry of bring the light of Christ in to every worship service and taking the light out into the world. Acolytes also serve communion to those in the nursery and those who are physically unable to come to the communion rail.
Communion Assistants – these individuals assist the Pastor in serving the Sacrament of Communion in worship services throughout the year.
Bell Tower Ringers – Just before worship begins each Sunday children ring the church bell outside the sanctuary!
Drama Team – occasional skits and dramatic performances are incorporated into worship and in other settings. If there’s a bit of “thespian” in your blood, this is the ministry for you!
Sound/Lighting Techs - Techs regulate volume control and mix for all microphones and lights. Anytime our sanctuary sound & lightning system is used a trained tech is required to run the soundboard. This means our techs also help facilitate weddings and funerals in our sanctuary.
